Don't be shy. Step right up and take a book or leave a book for others. There are no late fees, no damaged book fines, and no identification required.
The GFWC Lilburn Woman's Club (LWC) invites everyone to come over to their booth at the Lilburn Farmer's Market every Friday afternoon during the summer months and peruse through the impressive mix of both adult and kids books which have been collected as part of the Little Free Library Program.
Trish Biemiller and Karen Snavely, co-chairs of the LWC Education Program hope that families will bring their kids and find a book that they enjoy and then tell their neighbors about this great new opportunity. The ultimate goal is to build the community and teach our kids how much fun it is to get lost in a great story.
The Little Free Library project has been popping up all over the country in local communities and really reinvents the traditional concept of 'Library'. Let the kids shop for books while you shop for all the great produce and food products at the Lilburn Farmer's Market.

What a great idea and what a great way to keep kids entertained - and educated - while shopping! Wouldn't it be wonderful if beauty salons, small shops, etc. picked up on this idea for kids? I remember many little places I passed by when my kids were little because I didn't want the hassle of trying to keep them in tow while I looked around.

Love the concept of being able to get a book without a user name and password! Kudos to the Lilburn Woman's Club Education Program for making this avaiable!
