The Parkview Panthers 12-and-under travel team traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in The Tidal Wave Tournament at The Ripken Experience earlier this month (July 4-8). The fields were modeled after old major league parks and Parkview played teams from LA, OH, FL, IL, MI and GA during the week.

Parkview competed extrememly hard during the week and ended up with a record of 6-2. Parkview Panthers made it to the Championship game facing Ohio Force from Cinncinati with a tough loss after two long rain delays but fought hard until the very end.

The Panthers represented their hometown of Lilburn in a very admirable manner.  Congratulations to becoming Runners Up in a National Tournament such as The Ripken Experience!  Good Job Panthers!
