The Lilburn Farmers' Market is going to the dogs!
This Friday the market is going to the dogs when we celebrate Dog Days of Summer - bring your dog to the market. We will be giving away doggie goodie bags and have someone to take doggie pictures.
In addition to all of our usual vendors, we will be adding several dog friendly ones. AARF Pet Central will be selling dog treats to support their animal resuce efforts and Harley's Car Castle, a small dog car seat vendor, will be attending.
We also have a food truck vendor coming with his special hot dogs. Do you want a 'Bulldog' with chili and cheese, a 'Chihuahua' with pickled jalapenos, salsa and cheese, a 'Schnauser' with sauerkraut and spicy mustard or a 'Mutt' with any toppings you would like? These dogs are too good to pass up.
Farm2Market will be returning with O'Henry peaches. Of course, our farmers will have tomatoes, beans, squash, eggplants and much more. Have you tried Tweedy's bagels? This vendor has a storefront off of Sugarloaf Parkway and bring fresh bagels to the market. Or perhaps you might want to try Savory Sensations' english muffin bread. Of course, Belle's Bread and Freshly Milled Bread have delicious loaf breads.
We are partnering with Clicks and Sticks Knitting Guild. Come out and learn about this fun organization. They offer classes and spend time on charity knitting projects.
Clark Brown will provide our wonderful music to shop by.
Whatever you are looking for from coffee to natural bath/body products, the Lilburn Farmers' Market is a great source! We have something for everyone!
See you Friday - with our favorite 4 legged friend!
Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors about the Lilburn Farmers' Market.

I'll be there, even though I'm really a cat person!

Not sure how they could accomodate us cat people. Maybe invite us to bring pictures of our cats to post on a bulletin board? Let people vote and the winnet gets a bag of treats? Anyway, sounds like it will be fun.

Definitely an idea we need to explore for next year! What do you suggest for the title for cat night? We are always open to ideas!

I was half kidding, but maybe put the bulletin board at an angle and call it the Kitty Korner? ;>)
