Things to do in and around Lilburn this long President's Day weekend.

 

 

Thirkan, An Indian classical and folk dance festival. This fundraiser for the civil war victims of Sri Lanka features traditional Indian dance styles performed by area dance schools. Saturday, Feb. 18, 4:40 p.m. at Berkmar High School, 405 Pleasant Hill Road. Tickets are $10.

Dollar Day at Yellow River Game Ranch: Entrance is just $1 for all ages on President's Day, Monday, Feb. 20. Get there early -- owner Codi Reeves said this is a hugely popular destination on Dollar Days. 4525 Stone Mountain Highway, Lilburn. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Cheaper by the Dozen, a new production at New London Theatre. Click here for more information and photos on Snellville Patch. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17 and 18, at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10-$15. Call 770-559-1484 or go to www.newlondontheatre.org.

Run the Reagan: Fun run, 5k, 10k and half-marathon. Starts 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, on the Ronald Reagan Parkway in Snellville. It's free to watch; registration fees vary. Phone 770-518-8002 or www.runthereagan.net for more info. 

Snow Mountain: This is the last weekend to enjoy the tubing at Stone Mountain Park. Time slots vary, and reservations are recommended. Tickets are $27, plus $10 vehicle entry fee. Phone 770-498-5690 or see www.snowmountainpark.com.
