Trick or Treat for Tumornators, in its fourth year, took place in Lilburn on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012.

Tumornators, a nonprofit organization bringing awareness to two rare, genetic disoders -- Neurofibromatosis and Schwannomatosis -- held its annual fundraiser over the weekend.

Money raised goes to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation in honor of Drew Leathers. As a child, he was diagnosed with Schwannomatosis, which cause painful tumors.

The fourth annual trick-or-treating event took place Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Lilburn Greenway Trail.

As part of the event, the public can now vote on their favorite pet costume by clicking here: http://534863749342962478.weebly.com/. Voting ends midnight on Halloween.

So far, the nonprofit has raised $1,475 through the contest.

"Any dollar amount is fine," said Fran Cone, Leathers' mother an organizer of the event. "You never know which dollar will find the cure."
