Inside Police Reports: Game Systems Gone
PlayStation 3 stolen in two recent burglaries.
PlayStation 3 game system were the targets of burglaries reported May 20 on Holly Ridge Drive in Lilburn.
Incident reports from the Lilburn Police Department showed that the burglaries occurred at 474A and 485A Holly Ridge.
In both cases, it seemed the perpetrator tried unsuccessfully to kick in ther back door, then chose instead to enter through a back window.

Police were called to the 474A address around 1 p.m. on May 20 by the home owner who said the back window had been knocked out and the game system stolen sometime between the time he went to work at 8:30 p.m. the previous day and 1 p.m. on the day of the incident. Also missing were condoms that he said were in a drawer in the living room.
Police went to the 485A address around 2:50 p.m. May 20. The home owner said he left the house around 10:30 a.m. on the 19th and came home to see a back window also knocked out. Nothing was taken at the time, but the home owner said a PlayStation 3 had been stolen two weeks prior.
AC Unit, Backyard Shed Stolen
A home buyer who had recently closed on a house on Candlewick Lane in unincorporated Lilburn found something missing when she was moving in.
According to an incident report from the Gwinnett County Police Department the woman reported on May 15 that both the air conditioning unit and a storage shed were stolen.
She said both items, valued at $900, were at the house on May 12. She said she saw tire tracks on the left side of the house when she was at the residence on May 14.
The case is still active.
Door Kicked In
Burglars went through a back door at a home in the 2000 block of Embassy Walk Lane and stole a TV, according to a Gwinnett Police reported dated May 14. Mud was on the back door from where it had been kicked in, but police were unable to get a distinct shoe print. The TV and damaged door were valued at $750.
