It's National Pancake Day at IHOP

On Feb. 5, patrons visiting local IHOP restaurants can receive a free stack of pancakes. In exchange for the pancakes, patrons are asked to donate money to charity.

Yep! It's just what you wanted: free pancakes on National Pancake Day.

IHOP is back at it again for another year, and today is the day (Feb. 5) when patrons visiting the restaurant can receive a free stack of buttermilk pancakes.

I did this last year, and there was a long line when I went. So, if you don't mind waiting for a little bit while others chow down, visit a local IHOP today.

It's also for a good cause.

In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider donating any moount to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, or another designated local charity

Since the inception of National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $10 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.
