Parkview utilized its speed to overcome West Forsyth and beat the Wolverines 26-17 Friday night in an exhibition game played in Cumming.

The Panthers survived a slow start — and a 7-0 West Forsyth lead — to win the scrimmage, a tuneup for the team, which plays at Stephenson next Friday in the sesason opener.

It was a different outcome for this year for Parkview, which lost 7-0 to West Forsyth in a scrimmage last year in Lilburn that was ended in the first quarter by lightning and strong storms.
