Parkview's team also finished first last year. Over the past two decades, the boys have won state championships about half the time, including a winning streak in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.

The school's program is known for turning out stellar swimmers, including Eric Shanteau who captured the coveted gold medal in the 2012 Olympics.
