Severe Weather Could Hit Later Today
The National Weather Service has included Gwinnett as part of its Hazardous Weather Outlook.
The Lilburn area could see some more heavy storms today, according to the National Weather Service office in Peachtree City.
Gwinnett is included in the weather service's Harzardous Weather Outlook, which says isolated to scattered strong and severe storms could develop this afternoon and tonight.
The storms could bring frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, winds up to 60 mph and heavy rain.
Scattered storms are forecasted for north Georgia, isolated storms are expected in the central part of the state.
