Woman Charged in Stabbing Death of Boyfriend
Domestic dispute led to fatal result.
A 30-year-old Peachtree Corners-area woman has been arrested in the stabbing death of her 32-year-old boyfriend in an incident that occurred at the Highland Lake Apartments on Ashley Lakes Drive in unincorporated Norcross.
Police said that a heated domestic argument between the woman, Tiquonda Ranell Campbell, and her boyfriend, Tyress Shebre Malcome of Norcross, occurred Sunday night and resulted in Campbell grabbing a kitchen knife and assaulting Malcome.
After the stabbing Malcome was driven by a friend to an address on Beechwood Avenue in Doraville where the incident was reported to police. When police arrived they met the victim who informed officers that his girlfriend had stabbed him.
"He was transported to Atlanta Medical Center where he was pronounced dead upon arrival," according to the police report.
Malcome's death is being investigated by the Gwinnett County Police Homicide Unit. Campbell has been arrested and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
