Lilburn Farmers Market - August 9

It's Friday again and everyone is heading to downtown Lilburn for the Lilburn Farmers Market!
 
Excitement is building at the market. Mac the Cheese {Comfort} food truck is heading to Lilburn today! Oh my, the menu looks so amazing - it will be hard to choose just one item. Of course, Poppi's BBQ, Red Cactus Tamales, and European Market and Deli will also be at the market with their crowd pleasing favorites.
 
Everyone loves Girl Scouts and you will be able to support Girl Scout Troop  1187 at the market this week. Purchase a bottle of water and help them fund their projects.
 
Chef Carlin Brening will be showing us how to prepare Peach Tomato Gazpacho using farm fresh items from the market. Make sure you are at the market at 6 pm to learn how to make this at your home and to enjoy a sample too!
 
Lilburn Woman's Club continues to host the Little Lending Library. Come by and pick up a book to enjoy or drop one off so someone else can read it.
 
Cabbagehead Farms will be bringing bi-color corn to the market. Farm2Market will have wonderful peaches. The market is a great place to fill your kitchen with freshly harvested produce. Baked goods, salsas, kettlecorn, bath/body products, cheeses, water buffalo meat (Yes! We have this too!) and so much more. Come and see what everyone is talking about this week.
