Lilburn Farmers Market - July 5

Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July and are ready to head to the Lilburn Farmers Market!

The LifeSouth blood mobile will be at the market this Friday. Do something AWESOME to celebrate the Fourth and donate blood. There is a severe shortage of available blood - all types are needed. To donate you have to be over 18 and bring picture identification. The bloodmobile will be at the market from 3 pm to 8 pm.

Chef Nancy Waldeck will be hosting a cooking demo at 6 pm. She is making Cilantro Lime Slaw - filled with tomatoes, corn and cilantro. Can't wait to do a taste test.

AARP Driver Safety is our partner this week. They will be providing information about their classes.

Lilburn Woman's Club Free Little Library will be open. Bring a book, take a book, read a book!

First 50 families will receive a free shopping bag.

All of our vendors will be ready to sell Friday.

We are proud to give Lilburn producers an opportunity to sell at our market. Did you know that Dog Days Garden, Howard Family Farm, Buckets of Fun, JavaGenesis  Coffee Roasting, Jimmy's Home Grown Tomatoes, Poppi's BBQ, Red Barn Bakery, Sophie's Choice and Sweetie's Things are all Lilburn businesses? Make sure you go by and meet your neighbors.

Since it rained on the Fourth, you can buy goodies for a rain check, rain free celebration on Saturday at the market. Carrell Farms and BG Farms have every meat you could possibly desire. Fresh produce and fruits (we will have raspberries this Friday!), pastas, salsas, and baked goods can round out your offerings. If you don't want to cook, Buckhead Station will have ready to eat BBQ (his Boston Butts are amazing!).

The market will be open rain or shine! Come by and see us Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm in downtown Lilburn.
