Lilburn Farmers Market - June 28

The Lilburn Farmers Market is very excited to partner with St John Neumann Regional Catholic School this Friday night. We are hoping to see lots of St John Neumann families at the market supporting their school.

Chef Stacy Maples will be creating a Summer Chowder this week. Her demonstration will begin at 6 pm with samples following. Stacy will be using shrimp from TK Gourmet, vegetables from Cabbagehead Farms, and herbs from McManus Greenhouse in her recipe.

Many of you have asked about Lisa's Backyard Berries - she will be returning to the market this week with her delicious blueberries! Farm2Market will be bringing Carroll Farms semi-freestone Harvester peaches and blackberries. Our produce vendors will have lots of wonderful vegetables now that the weather is getting warmer. The market is a great place to pick up items for your Fourth of July celebrations!

Do you remember the Ukulele Society of Decatur? They have been a market favorite for the past few years. We are so excited to have them back this Friday providing their special music to shop by. You might see a few Hawaiian shirts at the market celebrating their return.

The Lilburn Woman's Club Domestic Violence program is sponsoring a booth with representatives from Gwinnett Council for Seniors and Gwinnett Senior Services. This will be a great place to learn what is available for Lilburn seniors. The Little Free Library will be open and ready to supply your summer reading material. Bring a book, take a book, read a book!

The first 50 families coming to the market will receive a reusable shopping bag.

Thank you for your continued support of the Lilburn Farmers Market. Make sure you tell your friends about the market and bring them with you! Make sure you stop by the Information booth and say hi! The Lilburn Farmers Market is open every Friday until August 30 from 4 pm to 8 pm in downtown Lilburn. The Lilburn Farmers Market is "a tasty way to start your weekend!"
