Gas prices: A gallon of regular gas will cost you, on average, $3.611 in the U.S. and $3.540 in Georgia, according to AAA. In Lilburn? Prices reported to www.georgiagasprices.com for Lilburn in the past 24 hours ranged from $3.41 to $3.66 a gallon.

Bye, Bye, hummingbirds: We're coming to the end of peak hummingbird season for our area. Did you know that if you count 10 hummingbirds at your feeder in a day, you're actually feeding about 60? That's what the serious birders say, anyway. "Pack up all my care and woe, here I go, singing low..."
