The weather: Summer's not going out without a fight, it seems. It'll be even hotter than yesterday, with a high of about 88 degrees. There's no chance of rain until Thursday now. The low tonight will be around 60.

Gas prices: A gallon of regular costs $3.642 on average in the U.S. and $3.529 in Georgia today, according to AAA, little changed from yesterday. In Lilburn, prices reported to www.georgiagasprices.com ranged from $3.42 (at QuickTrip, 4900 Stone Mountain Highway) to $3.49 (at Citgo, 1218 Turner Road at Five Forks Trickum).
