The weather: Only a few more days until the official start of fall. The high today will be 77 degrees, the National Weather Service says, and there’s a 20 percent chance of rain. The low tonight will be about 61, with a 30 percent chance of rain overnight.

Gas prices have dropped, and a gallon of regular costs $3.593 on average nationwide, three cents less than it did on Friday. In Georgia, the average is $3.462, almost four cents less lower. In Lilburn, prices reported to www.georgiagasprices.com in the past 24 hours ranged from $3.33 (at Shell, 612 Rockbridge Road at Lilburn Stone Mountain Road) to $3.39 (at Phillips 66, 5044 Lawrenceville Hwy near Hood Road.)
