Welcome to Friday. Here are just a few things to know as you head into the day and what promises to be a glorious weekend.

The weather: It's back to the 80s. The high will be about 82 degrees with sunshine. The low tonight will be around 59. Look for sunshine and summer temps again Saturday, with a high of 85 degrees. There may be some rain on Sunday, but the thermometer will stay in the mid-80s.

Gas prices: A gallon of regular gas is $3.655 on average in the U.S., little changed from yesterday, and in Georgia, it's $3.556, according to AAA. Prices reported in Lilburn on www.georgiagasprices.com in the past 24 hours ranged from $3.44 (at Kroger, 3050 Five Forks Trickum) to $3.59 at Citgo (4967 Lawrenceville Highway).
