Frugal Family: Scouting the Deals in Our Area

Once again, I've drummed up some neighborhood savings for you.  By popular demand, I've also included some senior discounts this week, as well as a great deal in downtown Atlanta.

The Deal: I know I mentioned Chick-fil-A last week, but when I find out about something FREE, I just have to share!  Friday, March 4 is Free FryDay at Chick-fil-A.  Come in between 2 and 4 pm and receive a free medium order of Waffle Fries when you mention you'd like to try the new Heinz Dip & Squeeze Ketchup. 

Good Through: Friday, March 4, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. only.  All Chick-fil-A locations.

 The Deal: This Tuesday, March 1 is Free Pancake Day!  In celebration of National Pancake Day, come in between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. to receive a free short stack.  (They ask that you consider making a small donation to the Children's Miracle Network, but it's not required.) 

Good Through: Tuesday, March 1 only.  Can't make it on Tuesday?  The all-you-can-eat pancake deal is back every day, for a limited time (prices start at $4.99; click here for details).  All IHOP locations.

The Deals: Bruster's has several ways to save.  Thursdays are "Banana Thursday" at all Bruster's locations.  BYOB (Bring Your Own Banana) to receive 50% off the price of a banana split.  Also, don't forget that kids under 40 inches tall receive a free "baby cone," and bring your canine companion for a free "dog sundae" any time (complete with a Milk Bone on top).  One last deal - seniors 60 and over can pick up a membership card for the "Kid at Heart Club" and receive 25 cents off every purchase.

SEASONS AT NORTHLAKE

The Deal: Double Deals!  Kids eat free from 5-8 p.m every Monday night.  Up to two free kids meals per one adult.  On Tuesdays from 5-8 p.m., seniors 60 and over can buy one entree, get one 50% off.

TWO BIG DEALS THIS WEEKEND!

DEAL #1: This Saturday, March 5, is Educator Appreciation Day.  Educators get in FREE with educator ID, and their families and guests receive $2 off the price of admission.  This includes homeschooling parents -- click for details.
