Get Your Girl Scout Cookies in Lilburn this Week

Girl Scouts and brownies will be selling their famous cookies at booths around Lilburn starting Friday.

Didn't have a chance to put in an order for your favorite Girl Scout cookies last month? No worries. Starting Friday, Feb. 17, you can buy them at cookie booths around Lilburn and Mountain Park.

This year is a big year. In honor of the organization’s 100th Anniversary, a new cookie from none other than the state of Georgia hits the stands – “Savannah Smiles.” According to the organization’s website, it is a bite-sized lemon wedge cookie with a dusting of powered sugar. Savannah featured prominently in plans for the new cookie because of its history as home of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low.
