Holiday Spotlight: Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen

The holidays are a good time to remember local charities that may need your help. Today we spotlight Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen.

Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that provides pet food for owners who can't afford it, is always in need of assistance.

It is one of the largest nonprofit pet food banks in the nation for dogs, cats and other pets, according to founder Tom Wargo, a Lilburn resident. It provides pet food to families that may otherwise have to give their animals up.

In addition to pet food, Daffy's also directs people to discounted spay, assists pets in natural disaster situations, builds dogruns at women's shelters so they can bring their pets with them, and more.
