Holiday Spotlight: Lilburn Cooperative Ministry

The holidays are a good time to remember local charities that may need your help. Today we spotlight the Lilburn Co-op.

Since 1994, the Lilburn Co-op has been meeting the needs of thousands of people in need.

The Christian ministry specifically helps those in Gwinnett County, including Lilburn, Stone Mountain and parts of Tucker.

In addition, it provides support to members of supporting churches, including Berkmar United Methodist Church, First Baptist Church of Lilburn, Mountain Park First Baptist Church and more.

The cooperative minsitry is a nonprofit organization funded through financial donations and sales of donated goods at Lily’s Cloak, a thrift store run by the nonprofit.

Currently, the nonprofit is requesting "any and all food items as needs in our community remain higher than normal," as stated on their website.
