Lilburn Business Association to Elect Board Leaders

The board of director's election takes place in March.

Are you interested in helping steer the business future of Lilburn?

If so, the Lilburn Business Association (LBA) will be having its board of directors election in March. All positions are voluntary. All executive board members must be a member of LBA attend all board meetings.

Nominations are currently being taken.

Brief descriptions of positions follow. Full descriptions can be found on the Lilburn Business Association website.

President: LBA president will serve as the voice of the organization and to help the business community thrive. The president works with city leaders, the Lilburn Community Improvement District, Gwinnett County Chamber, and other business groups to highlight the Lilburn Business Association and attract business owners to join and participate.

Vice-President: The vice president performs president responsibilities when the president cannot be available, reports to the president, works closely with the president and other staff, participates closely with the president to develop and implement officer transition plans, performs other responsibilities as assigned by the board.

Secretary: The LBA secretary creates and sends out LBA newsletters, maintains and updates member email list, maintains and drives social media presence. In addition, he or she keeps board meeting minutes and acts as a greeter at LBA meetings.

Treasurer: The LBA treasurer understands financial accounting and manages finances of the organization, including the collection of event monies. He or she will also works with the president and the vice-president to ensure financial reports are made available to the board on a timely basis.
