Lilburn Resident Wins $1 Million in Lottery

Georgia lottery officials will award the $1 million prize in a special ceremony Thursday, January 3.

A Lilburn resident is $1 million richer thanks to a winning ticket in the Georgia Millions instant game.

The person bought the winning ticket -- the top prize in the instant game -- at a Tucker gas station.

The Georgia Lottery Corporation will award the winner with an oversized check for $1 million at the Texaco Food Mart where it recently was purchased.

Georgia lottery officials could not be immediately reached for comment Wednesday evening regarding who the Lilburn winner is.
