Noonday Poll: Dueling Groundhogs
Groundhog Day is tomorrow, so we have a burning question: Who do you trust to give you the weather lowdown, Beau or that Pennsylvania groundhog with the funny name?
We don't know how often groundhog General Beauregard Lee, a Yellow River Game Ranch resident and the official weather prognosticator for the state of Georgia, was right in his past Groundhog Day weather predictions,
Now, that may be just hearsay, and biased at that, but Beau's rival up in Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney Phil, had about a 39 percent accuracy rate as of last year, according to biology professor Stam Zervanos, cited in a LiveScience article.
With Groundhog Day tomorrow, we just had to ask: Who's the better forecaster?
