Old Town Happenings: Arbor Day Brings Visitors To Main Street
Area was buzzing with Saturday events.
Old Town was buzzing on Saturday afternoon after the Arbor Day festivities on the . Music by “Questionable Characters” filled the air, as visitors came to check out the shops, enjoy the sunshine and walk down Main Street.
Saturday was the last day of Becky Kidd’s exhibit of dog portraits at , which ended on a high note, with 40 raffle tickets sold to raise money for Animal Action Rescue. Dog lovers and their pets stopped by to visit and share dog tales.
At 4:30 p.m., the winning raffle ticket for a dogwood tree was drawn at . The winner was Brenda Woodward.
