One More Rainy Day, Snow Likely

The week long rainy weather is expected to end tonight, but could turn to snow according to the National Weather Service.

There is good news and bad news to report on the weather.

The National Weather Service is reporting that the rain that's been around all week is about to end tonight, but due to dropping temperatures, we could get a bit of snow this evening.

The forecast calls for 100 percent chance of rain in the Lilburn area. There could be as much as an inch of rain today. Patchy fog is also likely before 10 a.m. Temperatures expected to reach 52 degrees. And winds are expected to pick up with gusts as high as 20 m.p.h.

And for tonight the weather service predicts:

  • Rain and snow likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Northwest wind 10 to 15 m.p.h, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Friday is expect to be sunny, with a high of 52 degrees.
