Outdoor Splash Time Opens May 28

The outdoor activity pool at the will open just in time for Memorial Day.

The leisure pool, with two slides, lazy river and multiple spray areas, opens along with outdoor pools countywide on May 28.

Daily hours are 12 p.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

The aquatic center, one of Gwinnett County’s nine aquatic facilities, is located at 1063 Rockbridge Road (info: 770-564-4650). Daily resident admission fees are $2 for ages 3 and under and 50 and over, $3 for all others (fees are doubled for non-residents of Gwinnett County).

Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation (GCPR) operates several other leisure pools that include features such as beach entry, water play structures, giant water slides and more. GCPR also offers private, semi-private, and group swim lessons.

GCPR aquatic facilities are available for birthday parties, team parties, family reunions, graduation parties and other events. GCPR also has numerous pavilions, community rooms, activity buildings and special event facilities available for rental.

Pool visitors may purchase year-round, seasonal or 10-visit FUNCARDS. These passes are available for purchase at all Gwinnett County pools. Proof of residency is required for those over 18 in order to avoid paying non-resident admission rates.
