Patch Picks: Super Bowl Sunday Hot Spots

Looking for a place to go to see the big game. We've got some suggestions — and welcome your's.

Beginning today, Lilburn Patch will run a weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend the day off and more.

Football's biggest night of the season is almost here. So, if you're not hosting a Super Bowl party yourself, why not enjoy the game with a few neighbors at the places we recommend. Lilburn Patch is here to offer a local guide to where you can enjoy the Super Bowl in your area.

1. , 865 Indian Trail Lilburn Road, has several drink and food specials, including a free Cajun shrimp boil (piled high on the pool table) beginning at 5 p.m. (the game begins at 6:30 p.m.) Raffles and other free giveaways might get you a free drink or T-shirt. One large projection-screen and other TV (none smaller than 37 inches) will bring you the action.

2. The  , 411 Beaver Ruin Road, will have 10 televisions (one of them a 73-incher), football memorabilia giveaways during halftime and its "award-winning 'Barn-style'" wings, coming in six different flavors.

 3. , 5370 Highway 78, Suite 600
, has you covered with plenty of seating, TV monitors and a menu that includes wings, delicious calzones and pizza. A Mountain Park favorite on NFL Sundays.

 4. , 605 Indian Trail Lilburn Road, has three large television screens, one projector and food specials, such as its 30 wings and two fries for $19.49, and 40 wings, 15 chicken tenders and two large fries for $42.99.

5. Mount Carmel Christian Church, 6015 Old Stone Mountain Road, Stone Mountain, hosts a youth Super Bowl Party, 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. The Mount Carmel Chrurch Student Ministry invites middle- and high-schoolers, whether they root for the Packers or the Steelers.
