Road Closures: Where the Trouble Spots May Be

Road closings that may affect your travel time in and around Lilburn

No new closures were listed this week, but these Lilburn-area roadways may still be affected by construction. The month is in bold if the estimated time to finish has been extended.

Everson Road from Chandler Point Court and Garnet Way will close June 18 through July 31 for drainage improvements.  The detour route will be Everson Road to Leach Road to Bethany Church Road to Centerville Highway and the reverse.  For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678-376-6926.

Highpoint Road 500 feet north of Aspen Circle will be closed through Mid-July for culvert replacement. The detour route will be Highpoint Road to Oak Road to Hewatt Road to Bruckner Boulevard to Highpoint Road and the reverse.  For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678.376.6926.

Indian Trail Road from Beaver Ruin Road to Oakbrook Parkway will require intermittent lane closures through August for roadway improvements, and median installation, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, and 8:00pm to 6:00am.

Indian Trail Road from Beaver Ruin Road to Oakbrook Parkway will require intermittent lane closures through August for roadway improvements and median installation, weather permitting. Any closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Jimmy Carter Boulevard at North Norcross Tucker Road will require intermittent lane closures through July for roadway improvements and paving operations, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, and 9:00pm to 5:00am.

Johnson Road at US 29/Lawrenceville Highway will require intermittent lane closures through July for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Killian Hill Road from Stonemont Drive to Pathfinder Way will require intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts through September for bridge replacement and roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Miller Road from Cole Drive to Hambrick Drive will require intermittent lane closures through July for sidewalk improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m.and 4 p.m.

North Norcross Tucker Road from Western Hills Drive to Pelican Drive will require intermittent lane closures through August for roadway widening and intersection improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Old Norcross Tucker Road from Britt Road to South Norcross Tucker Road will require intermittent lane closures through November for roadway improvements, weather permitting.  Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Pleasant Hill Road from US 23/Buford Highway to US 29/Lawrenceville Highway will require intermittent lane closures through October for ATMS improvements, weather permitting.  Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Rockbridge Road from Stovall Road to Lilburn Stone Mountain Road will require intermittent lane closures through September for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Wheatley Drive west of Deerbrook Way will close July 10 through July 31 for drainage improvements.  The detour route will be Wheatley Drive to Hasty Court to Five Forks Trickum Road to Killian Hill Road to Deerbrook Way to Wheatley Drive and the reverse.  For further information contact the Department of Water Resource at 678.376.6983.
