Dog Days 'Bark to School' Event at Trickum Middle School

Come one, come all to the Dog Days “Bark to School” event at Trickum Middle School Saturday, August 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 130 Killian Hill Road!

Community members are invited to attend this special fund-raising event with or without their four-legged friends. Visitors will enjoy activities such as a Biscuit Walk and living Tic-Tac-Toe. Dogs can compete for prizes in show events such as the dog with the longest ears, the dog with the best trick, and more.

In addition, there will be a silent auction as well as handcrafted items and homemade baked goods for sale, and attendees can stroll the school grounds learning more about their pets from visiting Lilburn area vets and therapy dog representatives.

A Gwinnett County police officer and K-9 partner will entertain with a demonstration. There will be a delightful exhibit of original dog-themed student art on display as well, and all proceeds will go to build a new outdoor community theater.

Principal Kay Sands would like to invite everyone to participate in this exciting community project.
