Little Shop of Antiques: Smooth Silk Duo & Dr. Allan Armitage
When/Where: Friday, June 10, 6 p.m.-9 p.m., and Saturday, June 11, 2 p.m.-4 p.m., , 94 Main Street, Lilburn.
Why Go: Something's always going on at The Little Shop in Old Town Lilburn, and this weekend is no exception. On Friday, downtown will be poppin' with the Smooth Silk Duo, a jazz and contemporary band geared by performers Joann and Tony, who's also played at Three Blind Mice. Horticulture author and researcher Dr. Allan Armitage of the University of Georgia will be coming in Saturday to talk about his book writing and garden stories. To add more to the mix, a group from the 48 Hour Film Project will be filming the excitement Saturday, too.

Race Day at Atlanta R/C Supercross

When/Where: Sunday, June 12, 2 p.m.-6 p.m., , 132 Luxomni Road, Lilburn.
Why Go: Atlanta R/C Supercross is an outdoor, off-road race track that lets remote-controlled trucks and buggies to race on it. Weekly on Sundays, the 2,000-feet-long track has races all day where competitors of all ages can join in.
Pricing: Spectators can watch the game for free, but those interested in racing are charged $20. Some discounts may apply, so visit for more details.
World of Warcraft Nights at The Gaming Pit
When/Where: Saturday, June 11, 6 p.m., , 4805 Lawrenceville Highway, Lilburn.
Why Go: Is it another Saturday night, and you're at home alone, sitting in front of your computer playing World of Warcraft, again? Bring your PC over (and your other local WoW friends) and game at The Gaming Pit, which has open play of WoW every Saturday.

Poker at The Rock House
When/Where: Friday, June 10, noon, The Rock House, 5329 Mimosa Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: The Atlanta Poker Club offers Texas Hold 'Em to anyone willing to play, right in Stone Mountain Village. Cards fly at noon, but guests can get there once the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. to munch on some delicious lunch (try to Stone Mountain Climber Burger) served by one of Stone Mountain's newest restaurants. Players must be 18 years old to participate.

Saturday Wine Tastings
When/Where: Saturday, June 11, 4 p.m.-6 p.m., Winestyles, 1350 Scenic Highway, Snellville.
Why Go: Figure out which flavors and brands you like in Winestyle's Old World cellar atmosphere this weekend at their weekly wine tasting event. Taste wine and nibble on light fare while meeting other wine lovers.
Pricing: It costs $10 per person to attend, but Wine Club members get in for $7.Guests will even get 15 percent off featured wines at the tasting, too.
Date Night Pottery
When/Where: Saturday, June 11, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., ART Station, 5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: SMart Inc. artist Angela Williams is back with another batch of date night pottery classes at ART Station for the rest of the year, including this Saturday. Pottery night is an amazing event to share with someone special, whether it's a first date or a golden wedding anniversary. Guests will have access to clay and tools while Williams instructs, and finger foods and wine will be available, too.
