SALSA DANCE BOOTCAMP, Saturday, Jan. 28, Thirsty's Bar & Grill, 3907 Burns Road, Lilburn. Learn how to Salsa in this three-hour session for beginners and experienced beginners. $40 advance tickets/$50 at the door. Registration starts at noon, lessons start at 12:30 p.m. In the evening, Thristy's will have its usual dance night, with a lesson at 9 p.m., followed by an evening of Latin dancing, from Merengue to Salsa and Bachata. $10 admission, includes dance lesson.

SECOND SAMUEL, New London Theatre, Friday, Jan. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 28. at 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 at 2:30 p.m. The play takes place in the sleepy little town of Second Samuel, where "nobody could have imagined how the death of one sweet little old lady would turn the entire town upside down, leaving everybody in Second Samuel wondering if anything would ever be normal again!," according to the theatre's description. $12 for advance tickets/$15 at the door/$10 for children (3-19) and seniors (55+).
