2012 Lilburn Idol Crowns Winners

Lilburn Idol concluded its ninth season on July 20, 2012

Rainy weather threatened all evening, as Lilburn Idol wrapped up its ninth season of the local entertainment contest.

During the intermission, Lilburn Idol moved the competition inside city hall, where winners also were announced.

Mayor Johnny Crist was the emcee of the evening.

Winners were:

  • Youth - Willy Neaime, 9, a student at Gwin Oaks Elementary, who also competed in
  • Tween - Claire Armitage, 11, a rising seventh grader at who sings with the Atlanta International Youth Chorus
  • Young Teen - Madison Breda, 13, a rising eighth grader at ,
  • Teen - Jordan Adam, 18, a student at Gwinnett College, who has been involved in chrous her entire life
  • Adult -, 52, who started singing in her church choir when she was a child
  • Senior Adult - , 71, who has been a brick mason for more than 50 years
  • Grand Jury Selection - Cheyenne Knight, 15, winner of a five-hour recording session
