Registration is open for the Lilburn Idol contest, according to the city's website.
Auditions will be held on Monday, May 7; Monday, May 21; and Thursday, May 24.
Contestants must register by April 30 by faxing the registration form (available on the website) to 770-921-8942, or by dropping it off at city hall. The auditions will be held in the city hall auditorium.

The performance dates are:
- Idol I: Friday, June 8 at 7 p.m.
- Idol II: Friday, June 29 at 7 p.m.
- Rain date: Friday, July 13
(Rain makeup day if Idol I or II is rained out) - Finale: Friday, July 20 at 7 p.m.
