Dance group that appeared on "So You Think You Can Dance?" entertains at ribbon cutting in Lilburn.

The Melanie Thornton Youth Arts Foundation's new Cultural Arts Center held a ribbon cutting Wednesday morning, officially opening the doors to performing arts in Lilburn.

The non-profit organization has taken over the old Textile Warehouse location at 4230 Lawrenceville Highway with a focus on reaching kids through art. The ribbon cutting was attended by local school administrators and teachers, local businesses and other city leaders, including Lilburn Mayor Diana Preston.

The crowd was entertained by the Atlanta dance trio RemoteKontrol, which gained national attention on the Fox Network's "So You Think You Can Dance" TV show last year. Attached to this file is a short snippet from their number.
