Still not have anything lined up for the last day of the year? Here are some exciting Gwinnett events to ring in the new year.
Where/Time: 9 p.m., , 411 Beaver Ruin Road, Lilburn.

Why go: In addition to the darts and pool tables Oyster Barn already has for activites, the seafood restaurant will also have the Airtime Band perform, who, according to the restaurant, will play anything and everything. A champagne toast will also be led at midnight.
Where/Time: 8 p.m., , 3907 Burns Road, Lilburn.

Price: $15 cover.
Why go: Thirsty's will be playing salsa, bachata and merengue hits all night, but will have some classics (like the electric slide) in the mix. so Check out more info here. Champagne, along with a toast and countdown, will be provided when the clock hits 12.
18th Annual Magical Nights of Lights
Where/Time: 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Lake Lanier Islands, 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway, Buford.

Why go: If you haven't been to Lake Lanier's light show yet this year, what are you waiting for? New Year's Eve is the last night of the lights, so fill a thermos with some hot cocoa, grab the kids and savor the last moments of the Christmas season before the 7-mile-long strip of bright wonders turns off until next December. Lake Lanier is only open until 10 p.m., which should give customers just enough time afterward to head elsewhere for midnight festivities.
New Year's Extravaganza
Where/Time: 6 p.m.-12:30 a.m., Duluth Town Green, 3578 West Lawrenceville Street, Duluth.
Price: Free, with nominal fees for winter carnival activities.
Why go: Bring the whole family for a night live entertainment, activities, a gigantic snow slide and a winter carnival. To welcome the new year, the clock tower at Duluth's city hall will have a extravaganza of sorts at midnight.
Eddie Owen Presents: The Mosier Brothers & Friends
Where/Time: 8 p.m. (with doors open at 7 p.m.), Red Clay Theatre, 3116 Main Street, Duluth. 8 p.m.
Price: $30. Tickets can be purchased here.
Why go: If you're in the mood for some bluegrass, head to Duluth to see The Mosier Brothers play. To those unfamiliar with the local act, The Mosier Brothers consists of three brothers, with the addition of a few other players, who've been playing bluegrass music for more than two decades. Eddie Owens Presents said the show will be over just in time to see the fireworks in downtown Duluth.
Lawrenceville Rings
Where/Time: 7 p.m.-midnight, Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, 185 Crog Street, Lawrenceville.
Price: Free.
Why go: Downtown Lawrenceville has it all on New Year's Eve: music, puppets, giant slides, hay rides, spacewalks, musical theatre, food... The list goes on and on. If that's still not enough, there will be a fireworks at midnight, but not before the countdown. The Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center is offering free parking and a shuttle service, too.
New Year's Eve Extravaganza
Where/Time: 9:30 p.m., Medieval Times, 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville.
Price: $35.95 to $69.95. Purchase tickets here.
Why go: Discover Mills' Medieval Times is offering a New Year's Eve celebration in 11-century style. Watch a two-hour live tournament, eat hors d'oeuvres and a four-course meal (in addition to a continental breakfast in 2012), look through the Museum of Torture and dance to the castle's DJ. At the midnight countdown, toast with champagne while watching the balloon drop.
