Lilburn's Fourth of July Event Rescheduled
Sparkle in the Park 2013 has been postponed due to the weather.
Update: The Fourth of July Bike Rodeo event also has been postponed, according to Pat Gabilondo of the Lilburn Woman's Club.

Sparkle in the Park, Lilburn's Fourth of July event, has been postponed due to the weather, according to a news release.
In addition to the 100 percent chance of rain that the National Weather Service predicts for both Wednesday and Thursday, there is a flash flood watch from 8 a.m. July 3 to 8 a.m. Friday, July 5. The warning is for several counties in the metro Atlanta area, including Gwinnett and Lilburn.
The new date for the fireworks display is Sept. 1, which is Labor Day weekend. Lilburn PR Manager Nikki Perry confirmed that A1A, the Jimmy Buffett tribute band originally scheduled to play Sparkle in the Park, will still be performing for Lilburn in September.
