City Makes Plans for Annual Christmas Celebration

The annual Christmas parade will be in just a few weeks, on Dec. 1. Applications for parade participants are available.

The city's annual Christmas parade winds down Main Street on Dec. 1, 2012.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church and heads to the city's park, where Santa's elf will parachute down for the grand finale about 11 a.m.

Bryan Shepard, the owner and operator of the Lilburn Chick-Fil-A, will be this year's Grand Marshal. Marching bands will be featured, along with more than 100 decorated floats, tractors, and classic cars.
