Violations: 2-1B, Violation of Code: [.03(5)(c) ] 1. An employee was observed handling money at the register then opened the reach-in cooler doors. 2. An employee was observed donning gloves without washing hands before handling bread. 3. An employee was observed donning gloves without washing hands before handling turkey. Food employees must wash hands at a frequency to prevent contamination of food and/or equipment. The employee decided to clean the handles and discard the food.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation. 2-1B, Violation of Code: [.03(5)(b) ] An employee was observed washing hands with hand sanitizer before donning gloves to work with bread. Employees must wash hands with clean, warm running water and/or soap. The employee decided to wash hands with soap.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation. 2-2B, Violation of Code: [.03(5)(j)1&2 ] An employee was observed eating a sandwich at the front counter. Employees must not eat in food prep and/or storage areas. The employee decided to eat in designated area.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation. 2-2D, Violation of Code: [.06(2)(o) ] An employee was observed rinsing a knife at the front hand sink. Hand sink must be used for washing hands only. The employee decided to 3-compartment sink.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation. 4-2B, Violation of Code: [.05(7)(c) ] Kernel popper and baking trays with food debris present are cleaned weekly. Cooking equipment must be cleaned every 24 hours.  New Violation. Correct By: 01/02/2014 4-2B, Violation of Code: [.05(7)(a)1 ] 1. Slicer stored as clean with food debris present between blades. 2. Storage lids and knives in the prep cooler with food debris present. Food contact surfaces must be clean to sight and touch. The employee decided to clean the lids.  New Violation. 15A, Violation of Code: [.05(6)(q) ] Air temperature of the display cooler is 42.1°F. Air temperature of holding units must be 41°F or below.  New Violation. Correct By: 01/02/2014 15B, Violation of Code: [.05(6)(d),(e) ] The 3-compartment sink has black buildup present. Warewashing sinks must be maintained clean. The employee decided to clean the sinks.  New Violation. 15C, Violation of Code: [.05(7)(a)2,3 ] 1. Storage shelves in the front prep area have buildup of dirt substance present. 2. Exterior of the water bottle, slicer, vegetable sink, and knives handles with buildup of debris present. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment must be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.  New Violation.
