Georgia Walmarts Offer Gas Discounts
The retailer's discount, available in Lilburn, is as high as 15 cents a gallon.
Reportedly seeking to boost sales, Walmart is offering discounts on gasoline that are as much as 15 cents per gallon.
as well as the nearby Stone Mountain store on Rockbridge Road.
The retailer announced Monday the return of the "Great Gas Rollback" program. Walmart customers using a Walmart gift card will receive a 10 cent per gallon discount; customers who use a Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart Credit Card will save 15 cents per gallon on their fuel purchase.

The offer is good at the Murphy USA gas outlets at the participating Walmart stores. Georgia is one of 21 states in which the Walmart offer is good.
Based on Georgiagasprices.com on Tuesday, that would yield a price as low as $3.23 per gallon.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Walmart's United States sales have slowed in 2013 as higher gasoline prices have affected customers, along with higher U.S. payroll taxes and delayed income tax refunds.
