Lilburn Business License Renewal Deadline Extended

Business owners have until next week to file.

Businesses impacted by Snow Jam 2014 will get an extension to file their business license applications in the City of Lilburn.

The city announced this week that the deadline has been moved from Jan. 31 to Feb. 5. Businesses must file their applications by 5 p.m. on Feb. 5 or face a $25 penalty.

"This week's snow and ice made it difficult for many business owners to come to City Hall to file a renewal application. We want to make sure our businesses have every opportunity to apply on time, so we extended the deadline to Feb. 5," City Manager Bill Johnsa said.
