Lilburn Café Expands Beverage List

To answer customer wishes, the Lawrenceville Highway coffee house now has beer, wine.

Patrons of , located at 5514 Lawrenceville Highway, Suite A, already know of the tasty coffees and smoothies served there.

But with a growing evening customer base and the audience draw from live jazz music on Saturday nights, the shop is now offering something a bit stronger.

The café recently requested and was granted a license to serve wine and beer.

Shani Seyoum, who owns the café with husband Yoftahe, says the change was made in response to customer wishes.

“Sometimes when we have jazz night, they’ll ask, ‘Do you have beer or wine?’ So we want to try it out,” she said.

Shani says not to worry; her place isn’t going to turn into a tavern, or be over-ridden with people having too much to drink.

“We have a family atmosphere and I don’t want to change that,” she said. “We open at 8 and we close at 8. We’re not to change that.”
