News Nearby: Ex-Braves Star Andruw Jones Selling Duluth Home for $5 Million

The former All Star outfielder is involved in divorce proceedings, as well as a domestic incident case from last December.

Andruw Jones, the former Atlanta Braves All Star outfielder, has listed for sale his house in an upscale Gwinnett development. The price? About $4.9 million.

According to a listing on the Harry Norman Realtors' website, the house on Grey Moss Pass in the Sugarloaf area of Duluth has nine bedrooms and 12 full baths. Amenities include a batting cage, putting green, and an indoor basketball court.

According to real estate site Zillow.com, the house was listed on Feb. 28, 2013.

With a 20 percent down payment of $1 million, the monthly payment would be about $21,600, including taxes and insurance, Zillow estimated. The house was purchased in 2002 for $2.77 million, according to Zillow.

Andruw Jones, 35,  played for the Braves from 1996-2007. He has a career total of 435 home runs.

Besides selling his home, Jones is involved in divorce proceedings with his wife. That case was filed not long after Andruw Jones was charged with battery in connection with a domestic incident early Christmas Day 2012 at the home.

The criminal case, a misdemeanor, is still pending in Gwinnett State Court.
