After scoring 33 out of 100 on a health inspection less than two weeks ago, a Gwinnett County restaurant still has a cockroach problem this week.

Golden Wok on Buford Highway near Duluth scored much better (81) on a June 2 follow-up inspection by the Gwinnett County Health Department.

But the inspector found a dead bug in raw beef in the prep cooler, live roaches near sinks and dead roaches and spider webs in several places — all repeat violations, according to the report.

The latest inspection came after the score of 33 on May 23, which cited more than 20 violations, including dead roaches and spider webs.

The inspector noted in both reports: “Repeat violations and unsatisfactory scores are subject to permit suspension.”
