So Long, Mountain Park Ace Hardware

April 28 may be the last day for the old Mountain Park business.

After more than four decades of selling hardware, tools and more, Mountain Park Ace Hardware will close its doors for the last time in a few weeks.

Employee Ashley Baird said the closing date probably will be April 28, but that's not yet certain.

The owner, Charles Biddox, had tried for a year to sell the place, Baird said. Finding no buyer, he told employees it was a "business decision" to close the store.
