Viewfinder: New Farmers Market

A farmers market opened at Berkmar United Methodist Church in April, and it's set to expand next month.

The farmers market that opened on Pleasant Hill Road in April is set to expand next month, according to David Hampton, the market's director.

The market, which has 12 vendors, is opened every Tuesday from 3 - 8 p.m., and next month it will be open on Fridays, from 3 - 8 p.m., with some vendors from the Lilburn Farmers Market. That market, on Main Street, is only open during the summer and will close at the end of August.

The new market will be called David's WOW Garden Farmers Market, Hampton said.
