1910 Public House Announces Early August Opening

Workers have been busy this week with shaping up Lilburn's newest downtown restaurant.

Workers have been busy this week with shaping up Lilburn's newest downtown restaurant, 1910 Public House.

Signs can be seen all around the eatery's windows announcing that it plans to open early next month. The city of Lilburn has previously said 1910 will hold its grand opening July 31.

Owners Anthony and Jennifer Tibera, who also run Sprig in Decatur, originally hoped the restaurant would open by mid June. When that time came, Anthony Tiberia explained that some structural issues had caused delays.

Passing by it on Main Street, the eatery-in-progress appears to have gone through a facelift with a new set of paint and other exterior effects completed. The inside is a mystery, though; while passersby can see that the interior walls are brick, the paper-covered windows make it impossible to see what's going on behind it.

1910 Public House calls itself a farm-to-table-style restaurant with a neighborhood feel. It will serve lunch and dinner daily with brunch on the weekends. Half of the eatery will be a market that will sell to-go items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's located at 107 Main Street.

Between now and the opening date, fans can sign up for restaurant alerts through 1910publichouse.com and follow 1910 Public House on Facebook.
