• A lifechanging day for many of us - June 4, 1977 the Apple II, the first personal computer, was marketed to consumers. 
• Today is Applesauce Cake Day though some foodies looking for a reason to celebrate claim June 4th as National Cheese Day. Either way, here's a very good recipe for a great applesauce cake that only uses five ingredients to go with the 5 Things You Need to know today!

APPLESAUCE CAKE

• 1 Pillsbury Yellow cake mix
• 3 eggs
• 1 2/3 c. applesauce
• 1/4 c. sugar
• 2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend sugar and cinnamon. Grease tube pan. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar, and cinnamon into pan. Beat eggs, cake mix, and applesauce. Pour batter in pan except 1 1/2 cups. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar mixture, then add the rest of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. ( you can make a glaze using apple juice and powdered sugar that makes it just a bit more special!)
