Girl Scout Cookie Booths Open

Girl Scouts around the nation are ready for the annual cookie rush. Are you?

Girl Scout cookies have finally landed in a neighborhood near you.

Beginning today, Feb. 11, the public can support the Girl Scouts mission by purchasing cookies at booths staged at local businesses in the area.

Today, there is at least one booth open in Lilburn, according to the "cookie locator" on the metro Atlanta Girl Scouts' website. That location is Kroger at 4155 Lawrenceville Highway; scouts will be there from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

By the weekend, at least six booths will be open around town. Check here for other days and times for cookie booths in the 30047 ZIP code.

In addition to checking the "cookie locator," this year the public can download the new Girl Scouts cookie iPhone or Android app to find booth sales.
